Dr. Debasish Barik is a Senior Consultant Physician and Diabetologist with over 15 years of distinguished clinical and academic experience. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack, where he was awarded a Gold Medal, and obtained his MD in Internal Medicine from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, the premier institute of Karnataka.
Recognised as an outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate teacher under RGUHS, Dr. Barik is admired for his clarity of thought, diagnostic acumen, and commitment to evidence-based care.
He has completed the Certificate Course in Evidence-Based Diabetes Management (CCEBDM) under the Public Health Foundation of India and Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy, and successfully finished an Advanced Course on Death Certification from the University of Toronto. He has also undergone specialised training in Infectious Diseases at CMC, Vellore.
